Swallow (concussion) is expected to return in Round 16 against Richmond after passing protocols, according to Michael Whiting of AFL.com.
ANALYSIS
Swallow missed Round 15 while in the league's mandatory 12-day protocol and will be back once his team gives the all-clear. Recent scores of 92 and 102 points in his last two full games make Swallow worth monitoring.

Suffers concussion
MGold Coast Suns
Concussion
June 22, 2021
Swallow suffered a concussion during Round 14 against Port Adelaide and should miss at least Round 15 against North Melbourne, according to Michael Whiting of AFL.com.
ANALYSIS
Swallow needs to wait out the 12-day league protocol before he can return. In an inconsistent Suns team, Swallow is a good alternate pickup when the stars of the midfield don't perform as well.
Decent in loss
MGold Coast Suns
June 12, 2021
Swallow logged 23 disposals (14 kicks, nine handballs) and made nine marks during Saturday's 76-49 loss to Fremantle.
ANALYSIS
Swallow occasionally pops up on the top end of the Suns fantasy board and that's what happened as only Touk Miller beat his points total in this game. Don't expect this to happen every week, though Swallo is still in decent shape with at least 21 disposals in six of the last seven games.
Logs 29 disposals in loss
MGold Coast Suns
May 15, 2021
Swallow collected 29 disposals (13 kicks, 16 handballs) and made four tackles during Saturday's 124-51 loss to Brisbane.
ANALYSIS
Swallow led his team in fantasy points during what was a drubbing at the hands of their local rivals. Still, for Swallow to put up this many points means that he could be worth the risk as an alternate to other high-priced options from the Suns. Though nine rounds, Swallow has topped 93 fantasy points in all but three occasions and topped 100 four times.
28 disposals, game-high 13 tackles
MGold Coast Suns
May 8, 2021
Swallow grossed 28 disposals, 13 tackles, five marks, four clearances and a single behind Friday as Gold Coast fell to St. Kilda 63-54 at Metricon Stadium.
ANALYSIS
Swallow registered season-highs for handballs (15), inside 50s (5) and clearances and set a new personal best for tackles on Friday. He also topped 25 disposals for just the third time this year, and, in doing so, produced his best fantasy score (130) of 2021. The midfielder has enjoyed an overall boost in fantasy output over the last several weeks and now looks toward a Round Nine matchup with Brisbane averaging 21.5 disposals, 4.5 marks, nine tackles and three clearances an appearance in the month of May.
Collects 27 disposals in loss
MGold Coast Suns
September 20, 2020
Swallow scored one behind to go with 27 disposals (15 kicks, 12 handballs) and 11 clearances from Sunday's 108-57 loss to Hawthorn.
ANALYSIS
Swallow was one of three Suns players to top 20 disposals during a difficult finish to the season. Through his defensive work, Swallow was able to maintain a decent value for most of the season. As long as he's still with the club next season, Swallow's value could go up as the team improves.
