As his final line implies, it was a thoroughly frustrating evening for Boyd, who simply couldn't get on the same page often enough with his pass catchers. The veteran had gotten in a solid half in the regular-season finale against the Blackjacks, so rustiness shouldn't really have been an issue. Meanwhile, backup Shane Morris stepped in with a serviceable performance in spot duty, completing eight of 12 attempts and throwing a pair of touchdowns. Therefore, there's a legitimate question as to which quarterback might be under center next week in the second installment of the home-and-home postseason matchup, but as it stands, the Brigade are already in a significant hole in terms of raw points.
