This article is part of our RotoWire Roundtable series.
The RotoWire Roundtable started a few years ago as a way of offering up multiple perspectives on the player pool with the hope of generating engaging dialogue around the players we disagree about. Of course, it also yields a consensus "opinion" with the average, or mean rankings from each of the five panelists, and a median ranking, which helps to reduce the impact of outliers on the panel.
This year's panel includes:
- Jeff Erickson 'JE'
- Clay Link 'CL'
- Todd Zola 'TZ'
- Tim Heaney 'TH'
These rankings were fully updated Friday, March 22 at 7:30p ET. There are a few key players without a team for the upcoming season (most notably, still, but may not for long, Craig Kimbrel and Dallas Keuchel), and we have updates to the list scheduled for 3/29.
Keep an eye out for additional articles and blog posts between updates, highlighting our strongest differences throughout this list.
Note: The column headers are sortable. The default rank on the left is based on the Median rank of each player, with the mean (AVG) serving as the tie-breaker when applicable.
Additionally, custom rankings for most other formats are available through the in-draft software and on our custom rankings page.
