Weekly Hitter Rankings: Cleveland Rocks

This article is part of our Weekly Hitter Rankings series.

Fasten your seat belts, this could be the highest scoring week of the season with only 24 off days all week. Recently, there were 24 scheduled off days on a Monday.

The Cleveland Indians are in a great spot to bust out of their season-long malaise with seven games against the weak Rangers and Tigers staffs. Speaking of the Rangers, they're scheduled for seven home tilts, all against righthanders. As if they needed it, the Twins are also lined up for a productive week, especially with a weekend four-game set in Kansas City.

Despite the action-packed week, the Tigers, White Sox and Pirates play just five games. In fact, 21 clubs have the full seven with only the Diamondbacks, Braves, Red Sox, Cubs, Padres and Rockies with six.

As is the tradition, these are just the initial rankings. Please pop on back Sunday night for the official version.

For the week June 17-23.
