Kessinger made his big league debut in 2023 earning 40 plate appearances while slashing .200/.289/.325 and hitting one home run. The 2019 second round pick climbed three levels in 2023 with his best work coming at Triple-A Sugar Land hitting .283/.397.435 with six home runs and two stolen bases across 230 plate appearances. Kessinger made the ALDS roster for the Astros and has a chance to break camp as a backup option across the infield in 2024.
