2020 Fantasy Outlook
Any player on the cusp of playing half his games in Coors Field is a potentially intriguing fantasy asset, and Ramos is no exception. The first baseman spent the 2019 campaign with Triple-A Albuquerque, hitting 30 homers with a .309/.400/.580 slash line in 127 games. As is the case with many minor-league first basemen, Ramos' big raw power has gotten rave reviews from scouts, but that's just about all he does, as his ability to make contact is questionable. It took a .390 BABIP and the extreme offensive environment of the Pacific Coast League to get Ramos to his .309 average last season, and he struck out 28.0% of the time. Still, a hitter doesn't have to be close to elite in a vacuum if he's to be a viable fantasy option in Coors Field. Daniel Murphy has the Rockies' first-base job locked down for now, but he's not exactly a paragon of health. Ramos could be an alternative should Murphy get injured. Read Past Outlooks
Heads to Korea

January 21, 2020
Ramos signed with the LG Twins of the Korean Baseball Organization on Tuesday, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.
Ramos isn't considered an elite prospect, but any decent hitter on the cusp of a debut at Coors Field is potentially worth a look, and Ramos certainly fit that description. He's no longer worth hanging onto in dynasty formats, though it's certainly possible that he breaks out in Korea and pushes for a big-league job in the future.
