The Denver Nuggets play host to the Boston Celtics at Ball Arena on Sunday afternoon.

The Nuggets (30-18) have won nine of their last 10 games, including their last eight in a row. Aaron Gordon has been playing well with his new squad, averaging 13.4 points on 55 percent shooting, over the last five games. Michael Porter Jr. is averaging 16.6 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game. Jamal Murray (knee) has missed the last two games and remains questionable for action on Sunday. The Nuggets are averaging 115.6 points per game, which is fourth most in the league, and they are shooting an average of 49.0 percent from the field, which is third best in the league. On the other end, they are holding opponents to an average of 110.2 points per game, which is ninth fewest in the league.

Meanwhile, the Celtics (27-26) have won six of their last 10 games, including their last two in a row. They will look to keep tolling and add to their, 10-16, road record as they face the first game of a three-game road trip. Jayson Tatum leads the team, averaging 25.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.3 steals, in 36 minutes per game. Jaylen Brown is averaging 24.3 points, 5.7 rebounds and 3.5 assists, while Marcus Smart is averaging 13.4 points, 5.6 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game. The Celtics score an average of 112.5 points per game, while shooting an average of 37.7 percent from long range. They do a good job on the defensive end by forcing their opponents into an average of 8.0 steals per game.
