Nets Blast Bulls, 133-118
The Brooklyn Nets defeated the Chicago Bulls, 133-118, at Barclays Center on Friday night.

The Nets (21-26) hit the ground running against the Bulls (19-32), jumping out to a 35-23 first-quarter lead. Brooklyn owned a 16-point advantage by halftime, and although Chicago managed to rack up 39 points in a third quarter during which they put a nine-point dent in their deficit, the 8-2 run the home squad opened the final period with essentially sealed the win. Kyrie Irving spearheaded the victory with a season-high 54 points.

Zach LaVine paced the Bulls with 22 points, adding eight assists, two rebounds and one steal. Luke Kornet supplied 19 points, four rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block. Tomas Satoransky registered 15 points, eight assists, four rebounds, one steal and one block. Thaddeus Young delivered 14 points, four assists, two rebounds and one steal. Shaquille Harrison managed 12 points, while Coby White poured in 11.

Irving complemented his aforementioned game-high scoring tally with five rebounds, five assists and one steal. Spencer Dinwiddie totaled 20 points, seven assists, one rebound and one block. Taurean Price furnished 16 points, eight boards and three assists. Jarrett Allen contributed 12 points, five rebounds, five assists, two blocks and one steal. Garrett Temple netted 11.

The Bulls next pay a visit to the Toronto Raptors on Sunday afternoon, while the Nets hit the road and tangle with the Washington Wizards on Saturday night.
