Rockets Close Out Seventh Road Win
The Houston Rockets defeated the host Cleveland Cavaliers, 116-110, at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on Wednesday evening.

The Rockets got out to a goo d start on the road, as they took the lead early and carried a 35-29 lead into the second quarter. The Cavs came out strong in the second and quickly cut it to a two-point game, but the Rockets managed to keep the edge and took a 64-57 lead by halftime. The Cavs were solid again in the third and outscored the Rockets by one in the quarter, to cut it to a six-point game entering the final frame. The Cavs started the fourth on fire, with a 17-0 run to take a nine-point lead halfway through the quarter. However, the Rockets would not go away, as they rallied back to take a two-point lead with two minutes left. The Rockets executed in the clutch and held on for their seventh home win, while this marks the eighth straight loss for Cleveland.

James Harden led the Rockets with 55 points on 20-of-34 shooting, in 41 minutes. Russell Westbrook followed up with 23 points, seven rebounds, six assists and four steals, while Clint Capela added 10 points and 13 rebounds. The Rockets shot 49 percent from the field, including 17-of-42 from long range.

Meanwhile, six players scored in double digits for the Cavs, led by Kevin Porter Jr., who totalled 24 points on 9-of-15 shooting. Collin Sexton followed up with 18 points and three assists, while Jordan Clarkson and Kevin Love added 17 points each. The Cavs shot 52 percent from the field, including 13-of-32 from deep.

The Cavaliers (5-19) will look to bounce back as they take on the Spurs in San Antonio on Thursday. The Rockets (16-8) take on the Magic in Orlando on Friday.
