As I've ranted on the show earlier, the two Japan games and last night's game aren't Opening Day. Today is Opening Day. It should be the first Monday in April, but I digress.

I decided to pay full price on starting pitching and see how it works with the rest of the lineup. I don't have any elite hitters, though Pence is in the vast second tier. This format rewards starting pitching, so why not go with my top starter, in a great ballpark, against a weaker lineup? Otherwise, I tried to avoid facing Stephen Strasburg, Roy Halladay and Johan Santana.
