Wednesday's child is full of woe... not!

It couldn't have gone any better or been any easier yesterday, cashing in on both my wagers and improving my season record to 8-3, +$516. Here's hoping I can continue my winning ways with the following:

Orioles +119 over Royals
Bet $100
Anytime I find the Royals favored it is going to draw my attention. Straight up, the Orioles are 55-27 in the last 82 meetings between these two teams. They are also 12-5 in their last 17 games vs. a right-handed starter, 5-0 in their last 5 road games, and are 8-2 in Hunter's last 10 starts. Meanwhile, the Royals are 4-14 in their last 18 home games and 2-7 in Paulino's last 9 starts vs. a team with a winning record (yes, the Orioles have a winning record on May 16).

Brewers +109 over Astros
Bet $100
Neither of these teams is very good, but Wolf and the Brewers have had greater success against weak teams… the Brewers are 47-16 in their last 63 vs. a team with a losing record and 11-3 in Wolf's last 14 starts vs. a team with a losing record. Conversely, the Astros are 18-39 in their last 57 vs. a team with a losing record. The Brewers have also won 9 of the last 10 meetings between these teams (and the last 6 in Houston), and are 4-1 in Wolf's last 5 starts vs. the Astros, while the Astros have lost their last 4 games and are 29-62 in their last 91 games following a loss.
