Pierce, Garnett Tribute Videos

It's been a rough fantasy season for Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett, but the memories in Boston for both players are still very positive. As Brooklyn visited The TD Garden this evening, the Celtic franchise was prepared with video tributes for both.

With 2:25 left in the first quarter, the Garden big screen ran this tribute for Kevin Garnett:

Then, after the end of the first, it was time for 15-year Celtic Paul Pierce to receive his due. Here it is:

The Nets won 85-79 in a rather ugly game. Frankly, I like the future of the Celtics (six to seven first round picks in the next three years, depending on protection rules) better than the aging and poorly coached Nets. But tonight was about relishing a glorious Celtic past. Despite the loss, it was a season highlight for the home team Celtics.
