Aiken (foot) announced Thursday via his personal Twitter account that he'll join Seton Hall as a graduate transfer for the 2020-21 season.
ANALYSIS
Aiken selected Seton Hall over Maryland, Iowa State and Michigan as his final stop of college following a four-year run at Harvard. Though he played fewer than 20 games in each of the past three seasons due to injury -- including a left foot issue that limited him to just seven appearances in 2019-20 and made him eligible for a medical redshirt -- the six-foot point guard was highly productive when he was able to take the floor for the Crimson. Over his 65 career games with Harvard, Aiken averaged 16.8 points (on 40.6 percent shooting from the field), 2.7 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 2.1 three-pointers in 29.0 minutes. Assuming he's healthy when the Pirates resume training, Aiken should immediately step into a starting role for a Seton Hall squad that lost its top two guards from 2019-20 (Myles Powell and Quincy McKnight) to graduation.
