Nowell announced Tuesday that he's officially keeping his name in the 2019 NBA Draft, forgoing his final two years of eligibility, Jonathan Wasserman of NBADraft.net reports, .
ANALYSIS
Nowell had previously stated that his intention was to stay in the draft, and this news confirmed that notion. He had a big sophomore season in which he averaged 16.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 34.4 minutes per game while shooting 44 percent from three-point range for the Huskies. The reigning Pac-12 player of the year is viewed by most as a likely second-round pick.

Nowell said last week that he'll keep his name in the 2019 NBA Draft and forgo his final two years of eligibility at Washington, Percy Allen of The Seattle Times reports. "I'm really all in at this point," Nowell said. "I never go into anything halfheartedly. That's just how I've been as a person. When I said I was going to enter the draft, that's what I meant and that was final."
