Leaves Memphis, preparing for draft
Wiseman has decided to close his Memphis career and will begin preparing for the 2020 NBA Draft, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The potential No. 1 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, Wiseman was going to have to sit until Jan. 12 before gaining reinstatement. Instead, the one-and-done true freshman has opted to call it a college career early and will instead look toward his future. Wiseman was dominant in the three games he played for the Tigers, averaging 19.7 points, 10.7 rebounds and 3.0 blocks over 23 minutes per game, but his absence the rest of the way will certainly dim the outlook of Memphis' potential.
