Finds home at Valdosta State

November 27, 2020
Dixon announced Oct. 28 via his personal Twitter account that he joined Division II Valdosta State as a graduate transfer from Kent State.
ANALYSIS
Dixon, was extended a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA earlier in the offseason, but rather than sticking around at Kent State, he elected to enter the transfer portal in August. While he eventually found a home at Valdosta State, he'll have to put his playing career on hold temporarily after the Blazers opted not to hold a 2020 fall season or a spring season due to the coronavirus pandemic. The NCAA is granting all players blanket waivers for the current season, so Dixon would be a seventh-year senior in 2021, assuming Valdosta State resumes playing next fall.

2019 Fantasy Outlook
After an illness took him away from the game for two seasons, Dixon made a nice return to football last year with 52 receptions for 532 yards and two touchdowns over 11 games. He should remain a primary target for Woody Barrett this year, and there's sneaky PPR league value here.
