Charlie Kolar
Tight EndTE
2020 Fantasy Outlook
Kolar has a monster season from the tight end position in 2019 with 51 catches for 697 yards and seven touchdowns on 81 targets. He served as Brock Purdy's security blanket in what was a surprisingly productive Iowa State pass offense. That's not expected to change with both Purdy and Kolar drawing serious NFL interest. The junior should be one of the first tight ends selected in upcoming fantasy drafts as he could push to be the Cyclones' top target this season which is extremely rare at the tight end position. Five catches vs. TCU
September 26, 2020
Kolar hauled in five catches for 27 yards in Saturday's 37-34 win at TCU.
ANALYSIS
Kolar had a fairly productive day when you consider that the Iowa State passing game had just 18 completions for 211 yards and one touchdown that went to Darren Wilson. When quarterback Brock Purdy improves his play this season, Kolar should be the primary benefactor. Iowa State will play Oklahoma next week.

2019 Fantasy Outlook
As the season progressed, Kolar became more active while converting 11-of-13 targets for 137 yards and three touchdowns in 2018. Head Coach Matt Campbell has hinted at wanting to utilize the tight end position more, so Kolar could be in for a drastic increase in targets as Iowa State looks for new play-makers after losing RB David Montgomery and WR Hakeem Butler early to the NFL.
