Pursuing move from Ragin' Cajuns
Smith (hip) announced Monday via his personal Twitter account that he will enter the NCAA's transfer portal with the intention of leaving Louisiana.
ANALYSIS
The 6-foot-4 wideout tallied seven receptions for 74 yards on 10 targets as a redshirt junior in 2019, but he's missed the entire 2020 campaign after suffering a broken hip during training camp. Since the NCAA is freezing eligibility for all players in 2020, Smith -- if healthy -- should be able to play right away at his next school in 2021 as a sixth-year senior.
