Jarek Broussard
Running BackRB
2021 Fantasy Outlook
No player who appeared in six or fewer games had more rushes last year than Broussard, who took 156 carries for 895 yards and five scores in the Buffs’ shortened season. His success is particularly impressive considering Colorado’s other running backs averaged 2.1 YPC over their 100 combined attempts. Broussard projects to have one of the nation’s highest workloads, and at 5.7 YPC, those numbers could pile up in a big way. The one knock on Broussard is his PPR upside (9 REC, 65 YDS) but his rushing production should be strong enough to carry his value even in those formats. Read Past Outlooks
Good to go
September 14, 2021
Broussard (undisclosed) will practice Tuesday and will be fine for Saturday's game versus Minnesota, Brian Howell of the Boulder Daily Camera reports.
ANALYSIS
Broussard departed Saturday's game against Texas A&M due to injury but appears to have avoided a major issue. The sophomore should head the Buffs' backfield again Saturday after compiling 27 carries for 145 yards and a pair of touchdowns through the first two games.
