Roche announced Sunday that he won't play in Miami's Dec. 29 Cheez-It Bowl game against Oklahoma State while he begins preparations for the 2021 NFL Draft, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
ANALYSIS
Roche would have been able to play one more season for the Hurricanes since all players were granted an extra year of eligibility. However, he'll skip the team's bowl game and shift his focus toward his professional career. After transferring from Temple this offseason, Roche posted 45 tackles and four sacks during his lone season at Miami.
