Keonte Schad

ANALYSIS
Schad played football at Ellsworth Community College before signing on with the Gophers in 2019 and was rated as the nation's No. 2 junior college defensive tackle. He spent two seasons at Minnesota while piling up 29 tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss. The Madison native fills a dire need on the interior defensive line for the Beavers after the program recently lost Jordan Whittley to the transfer portal earlier in the week. Schad could start right away but most certainly at least play a rotational role given his experience in the Big 10.
