PREGAME UPDATES

THE SLATE

Valencia Basket at Khimki Moscow Region

Status Check: Bojan Dubljevic (PAM), Alexey Shved (KHI), Devin Booker (KHI), Stefan Jovic (KHI), Janis Timma (KHI), Sergey Karasev (KHI)

Best Bets for Success: The first matchup on Friday's slate has by far highest total on the board. Valencia's top player, Dubljevic, is questionable, and with him likely to be limited or unavailable altogether, Mike Tobey will be a good pick here. He has capably filled in for Dubljevic on multiple occasions and averaged 23.2 DFS points over five games in January while covering for an injured Dubljevic. Sam Van Rossom is in excellent form lately and he will be in position to produce again facing the worst defense in the league. Van Rossom delivered over 20 DFS points in four of the last games and averaged 24.1 points in that department over that span. Based on recent performances, it's not difficult to point out the best plays in Khimki's ranks. Jordan Mickey and Errick McCollum will be very popular choices among fantasy players and their prices for Friday's game are reflecting that. Mickey produced over 40 DFS points in the last four outings and spent at least 36 minutes on the court in each. McCollum averaged 34.3 DFS points over his last four, and if Shved remains out, he will get ample scoring opportunities again. In the last Round McCollum put up a season-high 48.8 DFS points.

DFS Darlings: Martin Hermannsson tallied a season best 34.5 DFS points in the last matchup between these teams and missed a double-double by one assist. DraftKings has him priced at $6,400 Friday. Karasev averaged 18.3 DFS points over the last three games and played at least 26 minutes in each. He starts at small forward these days, and though he was dinged up earlier this week, it looks like he will give it a go in Round 30.

Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade at Panathinaikos OPAP Athens

Status Check: Dejan Davidovac (RED), Quino Colom (RED), Nemanja Nedovic (PAN), Georgios Kalaitzakis (PAN)

Best Bets for Success: Jordan Loyd has scored 20 or more DFS points in six consecutive games now and is close to reaching form from early stages of the season. Red Star's guard has his best outing this year in last Round, producing 41 DFS points in 29 minutes on the court against Khimki. Loyd is the third-best scorer in EuroLeague this season with 17.2 ppg. Red-hot Mario Hezonja will be a popular play on Friday's slate. In his first three games with Panathinaikos, he averaged 26.5 DFS points but, with Ioannis Papapetrou back from injury, it's not likely that Hezonja's stats will improve much. Papapetrou has excellent game in last Round against Maccabi. He spent 33 minutes on the court and didn't look limited at all despite missing previous two games. Panathinaikos' skipper scored 20 points in the last matchup between these teams. If Nedovic remains sidelined, Howard Sant-Roos will continue to play a main role in the backcourt. He averages 22.6 DFS points over last five games and primed to match or improve upon that number Friday.

DFS Darlings: Corey Walden and Ognjen Dobric usually take a back seat to Loyd, but both have the potential to produce in any game, and they could both get the job done with Davidovac out. Dobric's stats look slightly better, and he averaged 18.2 DFS points in his last five games and is available at $6,800 on DraftKings. Walden is a tad more expensive, but he averaged 18.1 DFS points himself over the last five Rounds. Lefteris Bochoridis is another player who has benefited from Nedovic's absence. With Nedovic fit Bochoridis' role was usually marginal, but in the last five games he averaged 20 minutes and 18 DFS points per game.

Anadolu Efes Istanbul at FC Bayern Munich

Status Check: Nihad Dedovic (MUN)

Best Bets for Success: Efes' backcourt duo, Vasilije Micic and Shane Larkin, is not slowing down. In Tuesday's makeup game they scored 15 points each and led their team to a decisive win. They averaged, respectively 37.2 and 25.3 DFS points in the last five outings. Larkin has scored in double digits and sank at least two three pointers in each of the 12 games he has played in 2021. Krunoslav Simon has extended his run of at least 20 DFS points to five games and scored in double figures in his last four. DraftKings has him priced at $8,400 for Friday night. Vladimir Lucic, when not injured, has started every game for Bayern this year. He averages 26.5 DFS points per game since start of February. Serbian small forward don't have much competition for his position in Bayern's roster and 30 minutes was his shortest outing in last six games. Jalen Reynolds just narrowly missed triple-double in Round 29 matchup against Baskonia, recording 18 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists. It was by far his most-productive outing this season with 48.5 DFS points to his name. Reynolds is second in the league in attempted two points shots with 9.69 per game, only behind teammate Wade Baldwin.

DFS Darlings: James Anderson is improving his fantasy points delivery from game to game. Over last three outings he averaged 14.8 DFS points, and he is available on the DraftKings slate for just $4,300. Tibor Pleiss recorded 21.8 DFS points in just 10 minutes on the court Tuesday. He was plagued by injuries in recent months, but in November, Pleiss averaged 26.5 DFS points in four showings.

FC Barcelona at AX Armani Exchange Milan

Status Check: Pau Gasol (BAR), Malcolm Delaney (MIL), Luigi Datome (MIL)

Best Bets for Success: Friday's slate closes with a Barcelona team that has clinched a playoff berth traveling to Milan to take on the Italian team that sits in third place and will be looking to secure the best postseason seed. Nikola Mirotic rarely disappoints, delivering over 30 DFS points 11 times this season. Barca's top scorer  recorded a double-double in the last matchup and has put up double digits in the points column in eight consecutive games. His counterpart for Milan, Zach LeDay, has recovered from an injury after missing five games. He played last Round against CSKA and put 18.8 DFS points in his account, and he will likely see more action Friday night. Kevin Punter has started every game since November, and his form is on the upswing, as he averaged 29.9 DFS points in the last three outings and scored at least 14 points in each. Punter scored a season-best 32 points last time out and was chosen co-MVP of Round 29. Another player who delivers steady stream of fantasy point of late is Kyle Hines. American veteran center averaged 24.7 DFS points over his last five showings and spent 31 minutes on the court in each of last two games.

DFS Darlings: Adam Hanga scored over 10 DFS points on last eight occasions and his 14.7 DFS points over last three is definitely worth $5,000 on DraftKings slate. Michael Roll has started every game since Delaney went down, and although he has averaged just 10.9 DFS points, at the price of $5,100 he's worth a shot.
