Olympiacos informed Happ on June 30 that his team option for the 2020-21 season was declined.
ANALYSIS
Happ was one of four American imports -- Wade Baldwin, Brandon Paul and Dwight Buycks were the others -- that were told they wouldn't be informed by the Greek club, which is looking to shed salary ahead of the 2020-21 campaign. The 6-foot-10 center has since moved outside of the EuroLeague to continue his career, agreeing to a contract with Italian Serie A club Lavoropiu Fortitudo Bologna on Thursday, per EuroBasket.com. A rookie last season, Happ only made one appearance for Olympiacos before being loaned out to another Serie A team (Vanoli Cremona).
