2023 Fantasy Outlook
Reddick, a Temple product, got the chance to play for his hometown Eagles last season and found immediate success. His career-high 16 sacks tied him with the Browns' Myles Garrett for second in the NFL and earned him his first Pro-Bowl appearance. Reddick's five forced fumbles tied for the league lead, while his three fumble recoveries tied for third among all defensive players. He remains an excellent bet to be among the league's sack leaders heading into his second year in Philadelphia, as he'll continue to star for a defense that should have plenty of leads to protect and thus plenty of chances to rush the quarterback. RANKS
Headed to Jets
The Jets acquired Reddick from the Eagles on Friday in exchange for a conditional third-round draft pick, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Per the report, Reddick is expected to agree to a new contract with the Jets, who will reportedly absorb $14.5 million of the edge rusher's salary for the 2024 season. With the move, the Jets add a player who can provide a nice boost to the team's pass rush, on the heels of a 2023 campaign in which Reddick racked up 38 tackles and 11 sacks in 17 regular-season contests with Philadelphia.

Lands with Gang Green
Reddick was traded from the Eagles to the Jets on Friday in exchange for a conditional 2026 third-round pick, Rich Cimini and Adam Schefter of ESPN report.
ANALYSIS
The pick improves to a second-rounder in 2026 if Reddick plays 67.5 percent of the Jets' defensive snaps and records 10 sacks, benchmarks he cleared with the Eagles in 2023. The Jets had been in search of an edge rusher after allowing Bryce Huff to join Philadelphia as a free agent and had previously pursued Shaquil Barrett and Jadeveon Clowney unsuccessfully this offseason.

Looking to add pressure off the edge, the Eagles signed Reddick to a three-year, $45 million contract in March. Reddick spent the first four seasons of his career with the Cardinals but joined the Panthers in 2021 and appeared in 16 games. In that span, he 27-year-old logged 68 tackles (37 solo), 11 sacks, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. After having racked up 23.5 sacks over his last two campaigns, Reddick will once again look to hit double-digits in that category in his new locale, and if he can stay healthy, the 2017 first-rounder will remain on the fantasy radar.
