2019 Fantasy Outlook
In his debut season, Callaway dealt with the ups and downs of a typical rookie. He displayed big-play ability and run-after-the-catch talents, but also struggled with drops (five) and posted a catch rate of just 53.8 percent. There's a real possibility Callaway could break out in 2019, as his deep-threat capabilities fit perfectly with Baker Mayfield. However, he'll start the season with a four-game suspension, and then will need to battle Rashard Higgins for snaps. The suspension is particularly concerning for a player who was plagued by off-field issues throughout his college career. Read Past Outlooks

Suspension
January 22, 2020
Callaway (suspension) was claimed off waivers Jan. 16 by the XFL's Tampa Bay Vipers, ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Shortly after Callaway was released by the Browns in mid-November, the NFL handed the wideout a 10-game suspension for violating the league's substance-abuse policy. Since he won't be eligible to compete in the NFL until the second half of the 2020 season, Callaway will stay involved in football by joining the newly reincarnated XFL, which will begin its season Feb. 8. A 2018 fourth-round pick who recorded 51 catches for 675 yards and five touchdowns over 20 career games in Cleveland, Callaway will be one of the more accomplished players suiting up for the upstart league.

2018 Fantasy Outlook
Callaway comes to Cleveland with a high ceiling, but also major character concerns. Drafted in the fourth round, the 21-year-old wideout has had numerous off-field problems, including a credit card fraud scheme that forced him to sit out all of the 2017 season. However, when he was on the field, he made plays. Callaway is an exceptional athlete with elite punt return talent, and his strong work during training camp seemed to play a role in the Browns trading Corey Coleman to Buffalo. Unfortunately for Cleveland, the rookie wideout was cited for marijuana possession shortly thereafter, making him a candidate for NFL discipline at some point this year.
