2019 Fantasy Outlook
Oliver, who looks like a draft-day steal after the Bills snagged him ninth overall this past April, isn't a towering defensive line presence at just 6-foot-2, 287 pounds, but he's an exceptional athlete who was extremely productive in college. As a rookie, Oliver will look to win a starting defensive tackle job right away. Star Lotulelei is the plugger on the Buffalo line, while Oliver is expected to beat out Harrison and Jordan Phillips to earn the majority of the time as the other starter. Read Past Outlooks

Battling core injury

Abdomen
January 14, 2020
Oliver underwent core-muscle surgery from Dr. Williams Meyers in Philadelphia on Tuesday, Vic Carucci of The Buffalo News reports.
ANALYSIS
Oliver previously tweeted that he'd undergone surgery, but the nature of the injury being addressed wasn't clear. The procedure was successful, and it doesn't appear this issue will keep Oliver out of the offseason program in April. The 22-year-old is coming off an excellent rookie season, where he tallied 43 tackles and five sacks over 16 games to be named to the 2019 PFWA All-Rookie Team.
