2020 Fantasy Outlook
Blair almost logged more snaps on special teams than on defense in his rookie season, as he averaged just 14.9 defensive snaps per game. Now, the Seahawks traded for All-Pro Jamal Adams and Quandre Diggs, who are expected to man the strong and free safety roles. Blair isn't going to fade away, however, because defensive coordinator Ken Norton Jr. sees a role for the second-year safety at nickel corner. Additionally, with Adams' ability to move around the formation, Blair could reasonably see plenty of reps at safety even if he's not the starter. The Seahawks appear dedicated to getting Blair on the field, so he should easily surpass the 32 tackles he recorded in 2019. Read Past Outlooks

Knee - ACL
September 23, 2020
The Seahawks placed Blair (torn ACL) on injured reserve Wednesday, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Blair was due for a big sophomore season, as he outright won the nickel safety job over Ugo Amadi. He went down early in Week 2's win over the Patriots, though, and he's been ruled out for the season. Blair will look to rehab and secure the same role next season, but for the time being, Amadi, Lano Hill and Tre Flowers (finger) will likely rotate into nickel packages.

2019 Fantasy Outlook
Blair played two seasons for the University of Utah before entering the draft where he was selected in the second round by the Seahawks. He was a strong college safety both on and off the ball, but a potentially serious back injury he suffered in the preseason could delay his debut. Regardless, he'll have to beat out Tedric Thompson for a consistent snap count, but he should be the first safety called upon if Bradley McDougald gets injured. When he eventually gets on the field, his IDP value is low since he wasn't a turnover machine in college.
