Marlon Davidson
22-Year-Old Defensive TackleDT
2020 Fantasy Outlook
Davidson comes from Auburn as a battle-tested 22-year-old, having 51 collegiate starts to his name and an All-SEC senior season to boot. In assimilating to a Falcons defense that was middling against the run last year - 15th at 110.9 yards allowed per game - Davidson is expected to be an immediate plug-and-play option alongside Grady Jarrett and Tyeler Davison. Davidson racked up 11.5 tackles for loss as a Tiger last season, and his principal duty as a rookie will be minimizing opposing ground attacks, an especially daunting task amidst a division that hosts both Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara. Going to Atlanta
DTAtlanta Falcons
April 24, 2020
The Falcons selected Davidson in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, 47th overall.
Davidson (6-foot-3, 303) weighed in heavier at the combine than the weight he played at for Auburn, and with that he projects more at defensive tackle than defensive end. Davidson could still play some strong-side end snaps in Atlanta's base formation, but he should otherwise play inside in passing situations. Whether he emerges as an IDP option depends on his snap count -- he'd likely need to secure at least 700 snaps to make a mainstream IDP impact in his rookie year.

Matt Ryan and Julio Jones still are around, but questions otherwise litter the roster. The backfield is of particular interest after the addition of Todd Gurley.
