TEFree Agent
April 14, 2024
Johnson is expected to be a third-round draft pick, according to the comprehensive 2024 NFL Draft Guide compiled by Dane Brugler of The Athletic.
ANALYSIS
Johnson is Brugler's third-ranked tight end prospect after Brock Bowers and Ja'Tavion Sanders. While Johnson topped out at 341 receiving yards in a season during his four-year stint at Penn State, he scored seven touchdowns in 2023, and his elite measurements will likely have some NFL teams salivating on Day 2 of the 2024 NFL Draft. The 6-foot-6, 259-pound tight end ran a 4.57-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine.
