T9 in GIR percentage at St. George's
June 14, 2022
Seiffert closed with an even-par 70 on Sunday at the RBC Canadian Open to finish four-under and tied for 28th.
ANALYSIS
Seiffert recorded four consecutive scores of 70 or better throughout his week at St. George's, where he ranked 13th among the field in SG: Tee-to-Green and T9 in GIR percentage. His ceiling was capped by a lousy performance on the greens, however, as he lost 3.4 strokes with the putter. Nonetheless, Seiffert is now slated to make his U.S. Open debut this week at The Country Club.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2022
2020
2019
Since graduating from the Korn Ferry Tour, Seiffert has been unable to make the playoffs in either of his two seasons on the PGA Tour. He's managed a top-5 in each season but with only a two top-10s in 46 starts, he's been unable to elevate at the highest level. He'll likely be spending his time this season back on the Korn Ferry Tour, where he'll need to improve his short-game in order to improve his results.
Seiffert took a step in the right direction as he posted his best result on Tour - a fourth-place finish at the Workday Charity Open. He's a late bloomer who does a good job of making cuts for someone of his skill level. Expect him to qualify for the FedEx Cup Playoffs for the first time next season.
The best performance of Seiffert's professional career is still a top-10 showing at the 2018 Travelers Championship, but he also managed to rack up five finishes of T7 or better throughout his 2019 campaign on the Korn Ferry Tour en route to placing 15th on the Regular Season Points List. Seiffert missed only five cuts in 20 events through the Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship, reaching double-digit top-25 results in the process. He also ranked seventh in putting average and 11th in ball striking, showcasing quite the all-around game.
