FanDuel NHL: Friday Value Plays

FanDuel NHL: Friday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NHL series.

It's the penultimate day of the NHL regular season. There's a light slate on the docket, as there are only three games taking place. That includes the final game of the season for the Anaheim Ducks. So let's say goodbye to Anaheim, and also get to my recommendations for your daily fantasy lineup.

GOALIE

John Gibson, ANA vs. LOS ($7,700): This game features the two lowest scoring teams in the NHL. How exciting! The Kings are the team on the road, though, and they've only scored 2.20 goals per game away from home. Gibson wasn't able to keep up his hot start, but his .916 save percentage is still above average.

CENTER

Matt Duchene, CLM at NYR ($6,300): Since joining the Jackets, Duchene has 12 points in 21 games. That's despite the fact he has a 9.1 shooting percentage with Columbus, well below his career average. As for the Rangers, they have a 3.20 GAA and have allowed 35.1 shots on net per contest since the All-Star break. They also made trades at the deadline that lowered the talent level further.

Sam Steel, ANA vs. LOS ($4,200): The Ducks have allowed their rookie center to get some time on their top line recently, and it seems to be paying off. Steel has seven points in his last six contests. Meanwhile, the Kings have a 3.43 GAA since the All-Star break, bottom five in the NHL.

WING

Alexander Radulov, DAL at CHI ($7,300): Radulov has been simply scorching recently. Over his last nine games, he has seven goals and seven assists, including five points with the extra man. The Russian has also notched 21 power-play points in 68 games. Now he gets to face off against a Blackhawks team with the league's worst penalty kill.

Jakob Silfverberg, ANA vs. LOS ($6,200): Since the beginning of March, Silfverberg has 17 points in 17 games. He's also averaged 2:25 per contest with the extra man in that time. In addition to their 3.43 GAA since the All-Star break, the Kings have the 29th-ranked penalty kill on the season.

Jason Dickinson, DAL at CHI ($3,700): Jamie Benn is resting Friday, and Dickinson is in line to skate on Dallas' top line alongside Tyler Seguin and Radulov. That certainly raises his offensive potential, and he's coming off a game where he notched a goal and an assist. It's also helpful for Dickinson's fantasy potential that the Blackhawks have a 3.56 GAA.

DEFENSE

Seth Jones, CLM at NYR ($6,200): Jones has an assist in four of his last five games, giving him 46 points on the season. He also has 10 power-play points, and the Rangers have the 28th-ranked penalty kill. On top of his offensive output, Jones has 131 blocked shots in 73 contests.

Miro Heiskanen, DAL at CHI ($4,400): Heiskanen has been overshadowed by fellow rookie defenseman Rasmus Dahlin, but he's been impressive in his own right. The Finn has 12 goals and 21 assists, including four points in his last seven games. As previously noted, the Blackhawks have a 3.56 GAA, second highest in the NHL.
