The Coyotes assigned Jean-Sebastien Dea to AHL Tucson on Tuesday, which may bode well for the availability of O'Brien. Coach Andre Tourigny also said Monday that the Coyotes winger could be ready to play as early as Friday. O'Brien, who has been out since Dec. 16, has five points, 40 PIM and 102 hits in 28 games this season.

2018 Fantasy Outlook
Signed as an undrafted free agent in 2014, O'Brien has been a dependable role player in the Capitals system for the last four seasons. The 24-year-old posted a career-high 17 goals in 2017-18 with AHL Hershey, and he's had consecutive 25-plus-point campaigns in the minors. Inked to a one-year, two-way extension in July, O'Brien should continue to deliver limited offense and a physical presence in the minors, but with only four NHL starts over the last two seasons, he has not established meaningful fantasy value to this point.
