NHL debut incoming
Stankoven will make his NHL debut sometime this week, Stars radio analyst Bruce LeVine reports.

Matt Duchene is dealing with a lower-body injury, and the Stars don't want to rush him back before he's 100 percent healthy, so Stankoven, the AHL's leading scorer with 24 goals and 57 points through 46 minor-league appearances, should draw into a top-six role when he makes his NHL debut this week. Dallas selected Stankoven with the 47th overall pick in the 2021 Draft.
