Booked for UFC Vegas 89
Brzeski will fight Valter Walker at UFC Vegas 89 on April 6, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Brzeski's UFC career certainly hasn't started out the way he had hoped, as he sits at 0-3 to begin his career. If he loses again in April to Walker, who will be making his UFC debut, Brzeski's time in the UFC may be approaching its end.

Drops third in a row
Brzeski lost to Waldo Cortes-Acosta via KO (punches) at 3:01 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Singapore.
ANALYSIS
You can't help but feel for Brzeski. He dropped a split decision to Martin Buday in his company debut last August and then had to face an excellent wrestler in Karl Williams this past March. He got a completely different type of opponent here in Cortes-Acosta, although the end result was the same. Brzeski crumbled under the pressure of Waldo midway through Round 1, eventually forcing referee Marc Craig to step in. Perhaps Brzeski's UFC run may have been different had he got the decision over Buday, but he didn't, and now his time with the company is likely limited.

Will fight Cortes-Acosta
Brzeski will take on Waldo Cortes-Acosta in a heavyweight bout at a UFC event in Singapore on Aug. 26, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Brzeski is coming off two painful losses via decision. Martin Buday beat him via split decision, while Karl Williams took care of him via unanimous decision. He'll look to log his first victory since 2020 after a series of cancelled bouts and a no contest. His opponent Cortes-Acosta is also coming off a loss back in April.

Still searching for first UFC win
Brzeski lost to Karl Williams via unanimous decision (26-30, 26-30, 27-30) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Brzeski was competitive in a split-decision loss to Martin Buday last August that he deserved to win, but he was far less effective in this fight. He landed a few power shots here and there, but his complete inability to defend the takedown torpedoed his chances of winning a decision. He allowed Williams to connect on 8-of-13 attempts, good for 10:13 worth of control time. Brzeski is more likely than not to receive a third opportunity with the company, but he's likely going to need a win next time out in order to save his roster spot.

Next fight set for March
Brzeski is scheduled to face Karl Williams in a heavyweight bout at the UFC's March 11 event in Las Vegas, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Brzeski is coming off a loss to Martin Buday in August of 2022, and he'll look to secure his first victory since May of 2020, when he defeated Michal Piwowarski via TKO (punches). Per Dorff, a location for the bout has yet to be determined.
