Skelly will retire after his upcoming fight against Mark Striegl on Feb. 19 in Las Vegas, MMAJunkie.com reports.

Skelly had been set to face Mike Trizano back on Oct. 9 but was forced to withdraw due to an injury. He's had four straight scheduled fights cancelled and hasn't stepped into the Octagon since he defeated Jordan Griffin by unanimous decision back in September of 2019. Striegl has only fought once in that timespan, getting knocked out by Said Nurmagomedov in under a minute back in October of 2020.

Skelly's scheduled matchup against Jamall Emmers was scrapped at the last possible second after Emmers could not make the walk to the cage due to back spasms.
