Back-to-back PFL FW champion

Palmer defeated Alex Gilpin via unanimous decision (50-43, 50-44, 50-44) at the 2019 PFL Season Championships on Dec. 31, winning the featherweight tournament and taking home $1 million.
ANALYSIS
Palmer is now on an 11-fight winning streak after winning in the PFL finals for the second consecutive year. The wrestling-based fighter was originally supposed to take on Daniel Pineda in the final, but with Pineda caught up in a Nevada Athletic Commission disciplinary hearing, Gilpin was called in on short notice to take the fight. The two had fought as recently as October, but the result was ultimately the same. There was a brief moment in the first round where Gilpin threatened with a choke off his back, but other than that, Palmer was in the driver's seat and scored multiple 10-8 rounds on the scorecards. While there are questions surrounding PFL's next event due to COVID-19, Palmer is currently scheduled to open the 2020 season on May 21 against Jason Soares.

Grinds out a decision win over Steven Siler at PFL Fight Night
LightweightPFL
November 2, 2017
Palmer defeated Steven Siler via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-26) at PFL Fight Night on Thursday in Washington, D.C.
ANALYSIS
Palmer looked solid in his first fight since losing the WSOF featherweight title against Andre Harrison last March. The former All-American wrestler spent most of the fight working from the top position. He landed some solid shots from the top and defended a variety of submission attempts from Siler. Palmer's best chance to finish the fight came in the opening frame, when he dropped Siler with a left hook. Referee Mario Yamasaki seemed interested in stopping the fight, but Siler alertly yelled that he was okay and remained in the fight. At this level Palmer should be able to rack up victories on the basis of his wrestling alone. With the win, he improved his professional record to 12-3.
Lance Palmer: Retains WSOF Lightweight Title Friday
LightweightPFL
June 5, 2015
Palmer defeated Chris Horodecki via submission (rear-naked choke) at 4:28 of Round 1 to retain the WSOF lightweight championship on Friday.
ANALYSIS
A pretty impressive effort for the Team Alpha Male product. Palmer was a gigantic favorite going into the bout (-1000) and he delivered. Palmer said in an interview this week that unless they guaranteed him $50,000 a fight, he wouldn't be interested in signing with the UFC. With so many of his teammates working there, it remains to be seen if that's actually true.
