Scheduled against Jourdain
FeatherweightUFC
May 17, 2024
Silva is scheduled to compete against Charles Jourdain in a featherweight fight at UFC 303 in Las Vegas on June 29, per Aaron Bronsteter of Sportsnet.
ANALYSIS
Jourdain will look to continue from where he left off. The 27-year-old was scheduled to fight at UFC 301, but his expected opponent (William Gomis) suffered from a brutal weight cut that resulted in their fight getting canceled. Jourdain began his 2024 with a first-round TKO to Westin Wilson.

Gomis fight scrapped
FeatherweightUFC
May 3, 2024
Silva will not fight William Gomis at UFC 301, according to MMAJunkie.com.
ANALYSIS
Silva and Gomis successfully made weight for the pay-per-view fight, but the latter's weigh-in clearly showed he suffered from the weight cut for their bout. It is unclear whether or not the Silva-Gomis fight will be scheduled for another date, but it certainly will not be Saturday.
Set to take on Gomis
FeatherweightUFC
March 14, 2024
Silva will face William Gomis in a featherweight bout at UFC 301 on May 4, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Silva cruised to victory in his UFC debut against Westin Wilson on Jan. 13, and he'll look to remain perfect against another undefeated opponent in Gomis. A product of Dana White's Contender Series, the 27-year-old Brazilian has now won nine fights in a row, and he will aim to continue growing within the UFC ranks with another victory here.
Cruises in UFC debut
FeatherweightUFC
January 13, 2024
Silva defeated Westin Wilson via TKO (punches) at 4:12 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
It's hard to draw any real conclusions from Silva's UFC debut. Sure, he looked good, but he entered as a -950 favorite and was facing one of the weakest opponents on the entire roster. He was able to stalk Wilson on the feet and land whatever power shots he wanted -- something that he won't be able to do moving forward. A product of Dana White's Contender Series, the 27-year-old Brazilian has now won nine fights in a row. We should get a better idea of his long-term potential after his next bout.
Filling in for Santos

December 13, 2023
Silva will fight Westin Wilson at UFC Vegas 84 on Jan. 13, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Gabriel Santos was forced to pull out of his fight with Wilson for unknown reasons, so Silva will step in to fight with a month's notice. Silva will be making his UFC debut against Wilson after securing a UFC contract with a Contender Series win over Kevin Vallejos in September.
Unloads late to net contract
FeatherweightUFC
September 12, 2023
Silva defeated Kevin Vallejos via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. After the show, he was one of five fighters to be awarded an official UFC contract.
ANALYSIS
Silva's penchant for counterstriking led to him falling behind early, but the Brazilian fighter showed his skills in Rounds 2 and 3, using his athleticism, power, and creativity to hurt his opponent. Silva likes to mix elbows and knees into a powerful boxing attack, which gives him more weapons he can use to take a fight over. While he may need to work on starting a bit faster, Silva has certainly shown enough to garner interest as he looks to establish himself in the featherweight division.
