Yahoo DFS Soccer: Tuesday UCL Picks

FORWARDS

Timo Werner, RBL at TOT (€29): Werner boasts the best anytime goalscorer odds on Tuesday's slate, and rightfully so considering he has two goals and an assist over his last three UCL games. If game theory holds true with Spurs chasing the series, Werner could see multiple opportunities to hit on the counter.

Rodrigo Moreno, VAL v. ATA (€25): Rodrigo recently returned from injury, and he could make his first start in over a month Tuesday. With Valencia chasing goals, his inclusion would be a nice bump in attack as he has two goals and two assists in five Champions League appearances this campaign.

Patrik Schick, RBL v. TOT (€14): Schick has scored a goal in each of his last three home appearances, and his appeal is synonymous with Werner's given the likelihood that chances should be aplenty. He helps open up some salary to distribute elsewhere, making him a fine option if he continues to start.

MIDFIELDERS

Dani Parejo, VAL v. ATA (€24): Parejo and Valencia have a big mountain to climb as they enter the second leg down 4-1, but that should force them to attack from the opening whistle in an attempt to salvage the series. He inherits the majority of Valencia's set pieces and has scored in back-to-back games, and he's in prime position to stay hot with a big outing Tuesday.

Josip Ilicic, ATA at VAL (€14): Ilicic is just too cheap to ignore on this slate despite Atalanta holding a big lead coming into the second leg. He's the prime beneficiary of Atalanta's attacking operation, though he has just one goal in six UCL appearances this season. Regardless, as more of a true forward, he comes with big upside if we think Atalanta aren't finished scoring.

Christopher Nkunku, RBL v. TOT (€12): Nkunku has been a key part of the Red Bull attack this season, as seen in his mammoth 28-point haul three games ago when he had four assists. He's creating chances in bulk, and his share of set pieces gives his fantasy stock a big boost in a game that Leipzig could be forced to add at least another goal in order to advance.

DEFENDERS

Jose Gaya, VAL v. ATA (€18): Gaya will look to overcome a shaky defensive performance as they look to overturn a three-goal deficit against Atalanta. While he's not known for his goal-scoring exploits, he did fire off three shots in the first leg, and with the Spanish side searching for goals, we could see more of the same in this one.

Lukas Klostermann, RBL v. TOT (€18): Klostermann will look to stifle Tottenham to see Leipzig through to the UCL quarterfinal. Even a 0-0 draw would do the job, so clean sheet points are in play in addition to his usual haul of defensive points. The big 6-foot-2 center-back has also been known to have an impact on set pieces, with two goals this season.

Serge Aurier, TOT at RBL (€15): Aurier scored in his last start, and with Tottenham needing a goal we can expect him to be getting involved in the attack in this one, too. His mid-range salary means you don't have to spend all your wealth to add more attacking firepower at the back.

GOALKEEPER

Peter Gulacsi, RBL v. TOT (€16): Gulacsi turned in a silky smooth performance in stopping five shots in a clean sheet win over Spurs in the first leg. Now, back at home with a one-goal lead to protect, it wouldn't be surprising to see him replicate that 17.50-point effort considering Tottenham are forced to play catch-up right out of the gate.
