He got his start with Parma in 1995, spending six years there while totaling 168 appearances and winning the Coppa Italia and the UEFA Cup. He is widely known for his time spent in Juventus, often noted as one of the greatest goalkeepers to play for the club. He spent 17 years with Juventus, making 509 appearances while winning 8 Serie A titles and four Coppa Italia trophies. Buffon decided to spend a season with PSG before immediately returning to Juventus the following season to win another Serie A title and a Coppa Italia. The Italian decided to spend his last two years of his career with Parma, the club that started it all. Buffon is also noted as one of the greatest Italian goalkeepers as he gave the nation their fourth World Cup title in 2006.
