Hawks Looking To Extend Winning Run Against Raptors
The Toronto Raptors will host the Atlanta Hawks at Amalie Arena on Tuesday evening.

The Raptors (21-33) have been disappointing this season and are already thinking about the future, and that has been reflected in their previous results since they've gone 2-3 in their last five games and are also coming off a 102-96 loss at the New York Knicks on Sunday. Gary Trent Jr. was the high-point man for the Raptors with 23 points on 9-of-17 shooting, in 35 minutes. Kyle Lowry logged 19 points, seven rebounds, six assists and three steals, while Chris Boucher totaled 17 points, 14 rebounds and four blocks. The Raptors shot 41 percent from the field, including 11-of-34 from deep. Toronto sits 12 games under the .500 threshold and they've been struggling at home as well, going 11-14 in this venue.

The Hawks (29-25) are trending in the right direction and enter this game on a two-game winning run while having won four of their last five contests, and they're making a charge at a playoff berth late in the season. The Hawks recently posted a 105-101 win over the Charlotte Hornets the last time out and it was a game where Bogdan Bogdanovic carried Atlanta offensively with 32 points and three rebounds, while Clint Capela took on a larger role offensively and finished with 20 points and 15 rebounds. Brandon Goodwin, who replaced Trae Young in the starting lineup, delivered a strong performance with 17 points, eight assists and five rebounds. Kevin Huerter had 10 points and seven assists, while Lou Williams chipped in with 13 points off the bench. The Hawks have also looked competent on the road, going 12-12 when playing away from home.
