Suns Host Heat on Tuesday
The Phoenix Suns play host to the Miami Heat at Phoenix Suns Arena on Tuesday.

The Heat (28-25) picked up a significant win on Sunday, beating the Portland Trail Blazers in dominating fashion. Beating a team that talented on the road is a good indicator of where this team is at right now, winning six of their last seven games in total. That's the Finals team we saw throughout the playoffs last year, and it's encouraging to see them play so well after a dreadful start. The one thing that still needs work is this offense, though. Miami sits 26th in points scored this season which is genuinely unacceptable when you see a roster that consists of Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, Duncan Robinson, Tyler Herro, and Goran Dragic.

The Suns (38-15) took care of business against the Houston Rockets on Monday, extending one of the best stretches in the NBA. They enter this matchup, winning 12 of their last 14 games, and it's actually extended much longer than that. Phoenix started with an 8-8 record and has won 30 of their last 37 games since then. That's one of the best marks in the NBA, and it has the Suns within shouting distance of the Utah Jazz for the top-seed in the Western Conference. Many people thought that the 8-0 bubble run last year was a major fluke for this team but adding Chris Paul carried that momentum into this fantastic 2021 season.

These teams played back on March 23, with Phoenix prevailing, 110-100. That has ended dominance by the Heat in this series, winning 17 of their previous 20 games over the Suns dating back to 2007.
