Heat Look to Close Out Celtics in Game 5
The Miami Heat face the Boston Celtics in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals in Orlando on Friday.
Miami leads the series 3-1 and will advance to the NBA Finals if they win here.
The Heat (3-1) have lost just three games in the postseason thus far and they truly look like the best unit in the NBA. While they may not be as talented as the other squads out there, they very well might have the deepest roster. Jimmy Butler is the head of the horse but Bam Adebayo is an absolute monster down low. That doesn't even take into consideration Goran Dragic at the point guard position and guys like Duncan Robinson and Jae Crowder at the wings. What's funny is that we didn't even mention the star of Game 4. That happens to be Tyler Herro, who dropped 37 points off their bench in the performance of his career. That just emphasizes how many weapons this team possesses and it would be hard to imagine them losing three-straight after their dominance up to this point.
The Celtics (1-3) looked as good as anyone in the first two rounds of the postseason but they appear to be mismatched by Miami. Game 4 was a game that had to win and they weren't able to prevail despite outshooting the Heat in field goal percentage and three-point percentage. Where they really struggled was with their ball-handling, losing the turnover battle, 19-8. It's hard to beat anyone doing that, let alone a feisty club like the Heat. There's still plenty of weapons on this team though and we can't count them out quite yet behind Jayson Tatum and Brad Stevens.
If Boston wins, they'll play a Game 6 on Sunday. If not, Miami will wait for the Western Conference Finals to commence to see who they face in the Finals.
