Lakers Roll Blazers in Game 2, 111-88
The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Portland Trail Blazers, 111-88, in Game 2 of the Western Conference first-round playoffs in Orlando on Thursday.

While Portland was able to grab the first lead in this game, that was the only time they were in it. In fact, Los Angeles got out to a 27-19 lead after the first quarter and carried a 17-point lead into the half. They then took a 30-point lead into the fourth quarter and Portland never got within 20 for the final 20 minutes of action. The Lakers shot 48 percent from the field and 37 percent from three-point range while holding the Trail Blazers to 40 percent from the field and 28 percent from long range. Los Angeles ended up out-rebounding Portland, 50-41, while also out-assisting them, 26-14.

The Trail Blazers (1-1) were led by Damian Lillard and his 18 points and three rebounds on 6-of-14 from the field. C.J. McCollum was the only other starter in double figures, amassing 13 points, five rebounds and three assists. Jusuf Nurkic had nine points and eight boards. Anfernee Simons led the bench with 11 points and two assists.

The Lakers (1-1) were led by Anthony Davis, who tallied 31 points, 11 rebounds and three assists on 13-of-21 from the field. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope totaled 16 points and two boards. LeBron James collected 10 points, six rebounds and seven assists. JaVale McGee played just 12 minutes but provided 10 points, eight rebounds and three assists.

These teams will play Game 3 on Saturday.
