Clippers Defeat Suns, 113-103
The Los Angeles Clippers defeated the visiting Phoenix Suns, 113-103, at Staples Center on Thursday.

While there were 10 ties and 15 lead changes in the first three quarters of this game, Los Angeles rode a 59-47 second half to their 10-point victory. In fact, they held a double-digit lead for the final five minutes. Three-point shooting was the difference in the game, with the Clippers hitting 18-of-37 and the Suns connecting on just 6-of-24. In addition, Los Angeles had 26 assists to 10 turnovers while Phoenix had 20 assists to 14 turnovers. That allowed them to win the points off of turnovers battle, 26-12.

The Suns (36-15) were led by Devin Booker and his 24 points, three rebounds and three assists. Mikal Bridges amassed 20 points and five rebounds. Deandre Ayton totaled 18 points, 10 rebounds and three assists. Chris Paul had 13 points, seven rebounds and three assists while no other player reached double figures in scoring.

The Clippers (35-18) were led by Paul George, collecting 33 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals. Kawhi Leonard was the only other starter in double figures, generating 27 points, five rebounds and five assists. Rajon Rondo led the bench with 15 points, three rebounds and nine assists. Marcus Morris and Ivica Zubac combined for 15 points and 11 rebounds.

On deck for Phoenix is a home game against the Washington Wizards on Saturday. As for Los Angeles, they host the Houston Rockets on Friday in the second half of a back-to-back set.
