I had become an easy mark in my home league, so much that I finished 11th and 12th in my home 12-team league the last two years I had played, barely making any transactions the latter year. This was a league that I had started with friends from college and law school and had geeked out enough to write a weekly newsletter called "Snide Remarks" with my co-commish. Our league was called the Snide Rotisserie League. Yeah, I had no girlfriend at the time, obviously. Now I have a wife and two kids, in addition to all of my other leagues. But once Ron Artest went into the stands (I'm nominally a Pacers fan), destroying a good team, it started to unravel my fandom.

But Charlie Zegers talked me into joining a quick one composed mostly of staff writers last night, using ESPN's draft room. Since we occasionally talk hoops on the RotoWire Fantasy Sports Hour, I figured playing in one league might make me sound less ignorant when we cover that.

So, keeping that all in mind, here are the results from our 10-team, 8-category draft. I pretty much relied exclusively on our draft software. There are no such animals as "my sleepers."

So, how did I do? Am I mostly dead, or completely dead money?
