Betting - Finding Value with the Astros?

Overall Record 3-2

Bank Account -$65

Reds at Brewers - Cueto takes the hill for the Reds vs Greinke at 12:10 today. I like this stat...the Reds are 5-1 in their last six day games while the Brewers are 1-5 in their last six day games. Some teams simply enjoy the day games while others do not or are not as prepared shall we say. If you think this is nuts consider Josh Hamilton's well noted struggles during day games last year. The Brewers home field dominance of a year ago is history. Cueto sporting a very impressive 1.31 ERA.

TV's Take: Reds +110/Bet $100 to win $110

Mets at Phillies - The Mets go for the sweep at Phily today vs Cliff Lee. Okay, that just doesn't click does it? Vegas knows it as the line is high at -200. Gee and his 4.50 ERA is on the hill for the Mets. The Mets have won 5-2 and 7-4 so far. I'll take the bait and go with the Phils in this one.

TV's Take: Phils -200/Bet $100 to win $50

Marlins vs Astros - I am a huge Josh Johnson fan, but I also know to bet streaks and poor Josh is on a bad run that suggest an injury or mechanical flaw. Johnson has allowed 11 runs in his last two starts not making it past the 2 inning in his last start. The talented, but inconstistant Lucas Harrell takes the hill for the Astros who are home dogs at +138. The teams have split their first two games of the series.

TV's Take: Astros +138/Bet $100 to win $138

Red Sox at Royals - The Red Sox lost a tough one last night as KC rallied late to win 6-4. The first game of the series the Red Sox won 11-5. Needless to say both games have gone Over. Ride the streak or bet against it? If Lester was pitching like the Lester we have admired over the past seasons I would say this was the streak breaker, but Lester seems to be a good bet to give up 3-4 vs a Royals team this is hitting better as of late. Now, the ace in the hole is Chen who in general is nothing special and coming off two straight starts where he allowed six earned runs. The Red Sox should strike for 6+ by themselves.

TV's Take: O8.5 +105/Bet O8.5 $100 to win $105
