Foster has a stress fracture in his injured ankle, which will keep him out for the 2024 NCAA Tournament, and thus the remainder of Duke's 2023-24 season. This leaves the No. 4 Blue Devils without a prominent depth piece going into their first-round game Friday against No. 13 Vermont and beyond. In the form of Sean Stewart and TJ Power, their forward depth will be much taller but with way less experience playing heavy minutes as Foster was used to while healthy.
