Thunder Defeat T'Wolves, 113-104
The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the host Minnesota Timberwolves, 113-104, at Target Center on Saturday.

There were only two lead changes in this game and they both took place in the first quarter. In fact, Oklahoma City held the lead for the final three quarters with a 39-24 third quarter making the difference. The nine blocks recorded by the Thunder were critical, with the Timberwolves having just four. In addition. Oklahoma City went 11-of-24 from three-point range while Minnesota connected on just 12-of-43. In addition, the Thunder went 24-of-25 from the free-throw line while the Timberwolves hit just 12-of-18.

The Thunder (28-19) were led by Chris Paul, who tallied 25 points, four rebounds, 10 assists and two steals. Darius Bazley amassed 15 points and six boards. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander generated 11 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two blocks while Dennis Schroder led the bench with 26 points, four rebounds and two assists.

The Timberwolves (15-31) were led by Karl-Anthony Towns and his 37 points, eight rebounds, six assists, two steals and two blocks. Andrew Wiggins totaled 22 points and three rebounds. Shabazz Napier recorded his first triple-double, collecting 10 points, 10 rebounds, 13 assists and two steals. Keita Bates-Diop led the bench with 11 points, two rebounds and two assists.

Both teams return to action on Monday, with Minnesota remaining home to face the struggling Sacramento Kings and Oklahoma City returning home to play the Dallas Mavericks.
