Thunder Rally For Impressive Home Win
The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the visiting Los Angeles Clippers, 118-112, at Chesapeake Energy Arena on Sunday evening.

Despite playing without Kawhi Leonard (rest), the Clippers got out to a good start on the road and led 33-27 after one quarter. They pushed their lead to 18 mid way through the second, but the Thunder brought it back to a six-point game by halftime. The Thunder came out strong in the third and tied the score at 69, halfway through the third, but the Clippers reclaimed the edge and held a three-point lead at the end of the quarter. The Clippers pushed their lead to eight in the fourth, but the Thunder closed the game on a 28-14 run, to earn the impressive comeback win. This marks the fourth straight win for the Thunder, as they improve to 11-5 at home.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 32 points, five assists, three rebounds and two steals, in 34 minutes. Steven Adams added 20 points, 17 rebounds, three steals and two assists, while Dennis Schroder poured in 28 points, six assists, five rebounds and a steal, in 33 minutes off the bench. The Thunder shot 47 percent from the field, including 9-of-27 from long range.

Meanwhile, Lou Williams led the Clippers with 22 points, seven assists and three rebounds, in 36 minutes. Paul George and Montreal Harrell added 18 points each, while Landry Shamet added 14 points, off the bench. The Clippers shot 46 percent from the field, including 11-of-27 from long range.

The Clippers (22-10) will look to bounce back as they take on the Lakers on Wednesday. The Thunder (15-14) play host to the Grizzlies on Thursday.
