Heat Gets Past Pacers, 124-115
The Miami Heat defeated the Indiana Pacers, 124-115, in Game 3 of their Eastern Conference quarterfinal-round series in Orlando on Saturday afternoon. The Heat leads the series, 3-0.

The first half of the contest unfolded in a manner that seemed to imply the Heat (3-0) was facing a Pacers (0-3) squad that was simply overmatched yet again, as Miami owned a 74-56 lead by intermission. However, Indiana found another level coming out of the halftime locker room, as it managed to erase all but four points from their deficit during a dominant third period. Coach Nate McMillan's squad kept the pressure on through most of the fourth quarter, and they were within two points with as little as 2:21 remaining before the Heat went on an 8-0 run over the following 2:09 to seal the win.

Malcolm Brogdon led the Pacers with 34 points, complementing them with 14 assists, seven rebounds and two steals. T.J. Warren supplied 23 points, six boards, two assists, five steals and one block. Victor Oladipo registered 20 points, four boards, one assist and one steal. Myles Turner generated a 15-point, 12-rebound double-double that also included one assist and three blocks. Aaron Holiday paced the bench with 10 points.

Jimmy Butler paced the Heat with 27 points, supplementing them with eight boards, four assists, three steals and one block. Goran Dragic managed 24 points, six assists, two rebounds and three steals. Bam Adebayo generated a 22-point, 11-rebound double-double that included five assists and one steal. Tyler Herro contributed 20 points, three rebounds and one assist off the bench. Duncan Robinson supplied 15 points, while Jae Crowder overcame an ankle injury to post 11 points, eight boards, one assist and two steals.

The two teams meet again for Game 4 on Monday in Orlando, with the Heat just one game away from clinching the series.
